Damian's report regarding his Mission ministry

Pastor Damien Cruz and his wife Rosa Lina stopped by the house this morning and gave me a report on what is happening at the missions they oversee.

First they want to rename their missions to Agape Missions. They will register the missions in the civil courts instead of as a religious group. Less hassle and we can do more that way for the communities and the jail ministry.

Both the mission in La Cruzasita and the San Agustin beach ministry are growing. Today Pastor Damien is going to San Agustin to meet with the members about putting up the Ramada on our new beach front property. He has asked for prayer that the authorities will approve the construction.

The mission at the prison is having some problems which needs his attention. The man chosen to co-pastor the church has started drinking and has a woman living with him there in prison. He has made enemies with all the church members there in the prison. Again please pray for this mission. I hope to get Pastor Damien the audio of the classes we had for our mission pastors so he can start training someone new.

He and Rosalina recently moved into their new home he had been building. An American who came down last year had promised to pay for windows and doors and other material but nothing has come in so they moved in without doors, windows or a floor. But they are happy to be somewhere besides the tiny room their whole family lived in before.

God has really blessed this couple. I am trying to get Rosa into a hospital that a friend of mine recommended as specialist from Mexico City come down and volunteer their time each month. My friend is the sister-in-law of ex-president Fox. Pray with us that we can get her there for her surgery on the removal of the tumor on her breast.
